I was getting dressed for lunch and a matinee Saturday morning, and I couldn’t decide what to wear on my head. The predictions of the day… snow in the NYC Metro area.

What to wear on my head???

After trying on a few hats I realized, my hat collection is multi- cultured!

 In a matter of a few minutes I tried a look from three parts of the world…

I tried my Russian hat:

The very mysterious scarf wrap, like women from the Middle East:

The final verdict???  The scarf wrap!

Pay attention to what inspires us, many cultures, and corners of the world make up the art of Fashion.  I am proud to be opened to the diversity of it, Fashion doesn’t have a culture…

Can’t get enough of infinity scarves! I know, I have already posted a blog about the infinity scarf BUT I had to put this one on a blog of its own.

I was at Macy’s (25% off Friends and Family this weekend only) headed for the door, when this scarf yelled at me, from the display table, to try it on.

Animal print is really cool, especially in the winter months, and the fact that they put it on an infinity scarf  (my obsession still) was a no brainer, it was a must add to the collection.

Last winter while watching The City, I saw Whitney wearing this winter headband you see in the above picture.

This a great way to keep your ears and head warm while not really messing up the hair. After searching for it on the Internet with not much luck, I found it on Canal Street!

If you have a couple extra dollars, and want to update the accessory closet, Canal is the place to go. They have very cool scarves, hats, gloves, earrings, necklaces, watches and so much more at totally reasonable prices.

I paid $8.00 for my winter head band, and it was exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!

Of course, try to avoid the knock off handbag dealers. It’s a bit of an underground, shady industry which takes away from the economy (Counterfeit products represent 7% of world trade. That’s more than $350 billion, according to the International Chamber of Commerce.) Just something to keep in mind.

Take a trip to Canal, you will definitely find some cool pieces to add to your collection.

OMG!

I saw this picture of Shakira and I almost had a heart attack when I saw this scarf!!! I absolutely love it!!! I cant say that I’m loving the hair… but the outfit is ridiculous!!!
