Last winter while watching The City, I saw Whitney wearing this winter headband you see in the above picture.

This a great way to keep your ears and head warm while not really messing up the hair. After searching for it on the Internet with not much luck, I found it on Canal Street!

If you have a couple extra dollars, and want to update the accessory closet, Canal is the place to go. They have very cool scarves, hats, gloves, earrings, necklaces, watches and so much more at totally reasonable prices.

I paid $8.00 for my winter head band, and it was exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!

Of course, try to avoid the knock off handbag dealers. It’s a bit of an underground, shady industry which takes away from the economy (Counterfeit products represent 7% of world trade. That’s more than $350 billion, according to the International Chamber of Commerce.) Just something to keep in mind.

Take a trip to Canal, you will definitely find some cool pieces to add to your collection.
