FF Stamp of Approval

I’m starting this sorta fun way of acknowledging peoples fashion sense by posting awards for them on my page. I find peoples pictures through face-book.

And the winner of the very first Fashionably Fluent Stamp of Approval Award goes to:

Krista Nagurka from Ridgefield Park, NJ

After looking through Krista’s photo albums on FaceBook, it was hard to give you one picture, but I picked this picture/outfit because it follows many Fashionably Fluent rules.

  • Manicured nails in a dashing red (always a classic)
  • Tossed up comfy beach hair look
  • Just enough accessories

Can we talk about the shirt for a minute? First, I have never seen a shirt like this before and at first glance definitely not that easy to pull off, but the way Krista paired it with the washed up shorts and gladator sandles is just Fab! Oh and the zipper is a plus!

Krista, you defenitely have a sense of style without seeming like you are trying to hard. I absolutely love it! It’s effortless and so chic, you are so FF ; )

Look out for your FF stamp of approval!

Spring into Color

I am a huge believer that your nail color as wells your clothing colors must go with the season. This time of year is always hard to figure out what colors to put on your nails since its kinda spring-ish but not really. I found a bunch of cool nail colors that are FF approved and obviously hot celebrities rocking a trend is an indicator that the colors are somewhat appropriate : P

Here are some colors for the inbetween season:

Neutral grayish/lavender

GunMetal/ Metallic

Russian Navy

Hot Pink (My Favorite)

Nude

Clear Coat

If all else fails, keep it simple, as long as your nails are filed and clean this is always a good look anytime of year!

Dee

Eye Makeup for Dummies

I have somehow almost perfected the skill of eye shadow applying, so when I came across this product, I thought what do I need this for?

My second thought, not everyone is blessed with my skills, so I need to share this. This is for those of you who usually need help when applying your eye makeup.

Girls, I cant say that I have tried this product but it looks damn interesting! It’s a sticker that when peeled open has a blend of colors to apply to your eyes, no makeup skills are required. You peel and instantly have a professional, more dramatic eye.

If any of you happen to try please, please tell me about it. I may purchase for fun and will report back when I do.
